Understanding Stealth Mode
How to share apps privately without listing them in the public Gallery.
Not every app is meant for the world. Sometimes you're building a tool for your team, your family, or just yourself.
Stealth Mode allows you to share an app via a direct link, while hiding it from the public ClipVibe Gallery and search engines.
How it Works
When an app is in Stealth Mode:
- Direct Links Work: Anyone with the URL (e.g.,
clipvibe.app/user/tool) can access and use the app. - Gallery Hidden: The app will not appear on the "Explore" page or the "Gallery" tab of your profile.
- No Indexing: We add
noindexmeta tags to prevent Google from listing it.
When to Use Stealth Mode
- Internal Business Tools: A commission calculator for your sales team.
- Client Prototypes: Showing a design to a client before release.
- Personal Utilities: A budget tracker with specific numbers you don't want broadcasted.
How to Enable Stealth Mode
- Go to your App Editor.
- Click Publish.
- In the visibility dropdown, select Stealth (Unlisted).
- Save changes.
You can switch an app between Public and Stealth at any time. The URL remains the same.
